Keys to Praying for Jews

Jeruzalem, een heilige bedevaartsoord voor de drie Abrahamitische religies van het jodendom, het christendom en de islam, is een broeinest voor religieuze en etnische conflicten, evenals geopolitieke positionering. Ask Holy Spirit to humble hearts of the Jews to be able to see their need for salvation and to recognize and receive Jesus Christ as the promised Messiah according to the scriptures.

(1 Cor. 1:26-31)

Pray for Father God to deliver and heal Jews from historical woundings, including the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the Holocaust, which are barriers to the Gospel since Jews often perceive them as being justified in the name of Christianity.

(Matt. 6:14-15)

Lord Jesus, reveal Your worth to Jews as being so much greater than their deep sense of cultural and religious heritage so that they pursue knowing You with their whole hearts.

(Phil. 3:7-14)

Pray that Jews recognize that even faith is a gift from God and that salvation is by God's grace, not through works nor anything we can do.

(Ephesians 2:8-10)

Pray for God to remove hard hearts and for God's law to be written on the hearts of Jewish people through the Holy Spirit, as it reflects the fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:33.
