“So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.” — Romans 11:5
“For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” — Romans 11:15
“He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in Himself one new man from the two groups.” — Ephesians 2:15 (NLT)
In Isaiah 62:1-2, God speaks of His unceasing commitment to Jerusalem, saying, “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.” The fulfillment of this promise has not yet fully come, and the Lord continues to call watchmen to stand in prayer, day and night, for Jerusalem’s spiritual restoration. Isaiah 62:6-7 declares, “On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; all day and all night they will never keep silent… give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
We pray for the release of a global ‘gift of tears,’ that the Church would deeply feel God’s heart for Israel and His people. Just as Jesus wept over ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮ್, may we intercede with compassion and urgency for the city’s salvation (Luke 19:41).
