Justin is an incredibly talented young Indonesian writer. He overcame the massive challenges of autism, difficulty speaking, and daily struggles to publish his first book at the age of 8. Despite his difficulties, Justin uses his writing to inspire and encourage others worldwide, turning his challenges into a source of strength.

Justin has written our daily thoughts and themes for the Prayer Guide and trusts that each one of us is blessed, comforted and encouraged by them.

Today I want to talk about dreams. Everyone, young and old has dreams.

મારે વક્તા અને લેખક બનવાનું સપનું છે... પણ જીવન હંમેશા સરળ નથી હોતું. રસ્તો હંમેશા સાફ હોતો નથી.

I was diagnosed with a severe speech disorder. I didn’t really speak until I was five years old. Hours and hours of therapy have brought me to where I am now, though it’s still choppy and I have difficulties.

શું મને ક્યારેય આત્મ દયા આવે છે?
શું હું મારા માટે દિલગીર છું?
શું હું ક્યારેય મારા સ્વપ્નને છોડી દઉં છું?

No! It’s only made me work harder and harder.

જસ્ટિનને બે વર્ષની ઉંમરે ઓટીઝમ હોવાનું નિદાન થયું હતું. તે પાંચ વર્ષની ઉંમર સુધી બોલી શકતો ન હતો. તેણે અઠવાડિયામાં 40 કલાક થેરાપી લીધી. 15 શાળાઓમાં તેને સ્વીકારવામાં આવ્યો ન હતો અને અંતે તેને એક શાળા મળી. સાત વર્ષની ઉંમરે, તેની લેખન કુશળતાનું મૂલ્યાંકન ફક્ત 0.1 ટકા કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું, પરંતુ તેની માતાએ તેને પેન્સિલ પકડીને લખવાનું શીખવવાના પ્રયાસો ફળદાયી નીવડ્યા. આઠ વર્ષની ઉંમરે, જસ્ટિનનું લેખન રાષ્ટ્રીય પ્રકાશક દ્વારા પ્રકાશિત કરવામાં આવ્યું.
