SOMALIA
Pergi balik

Saya tinggal di Mogadishu, a city stretched along the Indian Ocean, where the waves crash against the same shores that have seen centuries of trade, conflict, and faith. Once a thriving port and cultural center, our city has been scarred by forty years of civil war and clan violence. The sound of gunfire has long been part of daily life, and deep wounds still divide our tribes and communities.

For many, Mogadishu feels like a city trapped between hope and despair. Militants still roam its edges, enforcing fear and punishing those who dare to follow Jesus. In this place, being a believer means living quietly—sometimes secretly—but never without faith.

Despite the danger, Tuhan sedang bergerak among our people. I’ve seen lives changed through dreams, through whispered prayers, and through the quiet courage of Somali believers who refuse to hide the light within them. Though Somalia is often called a failed state, I believe the Kingdom of God is quietly advancing here, one heart at a time. We may not have stability in our government, but we have an unshakable hope in Christ. And that hope is stronger than fear.
