PURSUE DISCERNMENT & TRUTH

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” Ephesians 5:8-11

Adoration:

Spirit of Truth, You guide us into all wisdom and understanding. You reveal what is hidden and lead us in paths of righteousness. I praise You, Lord, for being the Light of the world and the One who never deceives. Your Word is truth, and Your truth sets us free.

Repentance:

Forgive me, Lord, for allowing confusion, fear, or worldly thinking to shape my choices. Forgive the Church for compromising truth or being silent when Your light should shine. Purify our hearts and minds, and teach us to discern what pleases You in every situation.

Intercession:

Prayer Focus for Israel & the Jewish People: Pray that the people of Israel and the Jewish people would receive godly spiritual discernment, that any falsehoods, deceptions or religious systems that blind would be exposed, and that Messiah’s truth would shine in every heart.

Cry for the Harvest:

Across Eastern and Southern Africa, many peoples still have little access to the light and Truth of the Gospel. In this region, revival fire and deep faith meet rising deception, conflict, and corruption, so especially here the Body of Christ needs spiritual clarity and courage to walk in the light.

Put Feet to Your Prayers:

Ask the Holy Spirit for clarity and conviction. Pray for a renewed love for truth in your own life—truth in words, motives, and actions. Spend time daily in the Word of God as your plumbline of Truth. Ask Him to make you a beacon of integrity wherever you go.
Stand for truth in your community. When faced with lies, injustice, or corruption, ask for courage to speak the truth in love. Be a light that exposes darkness and brings hope.
Pray for discernment and integrity across Africa. Intercede for leaders, pastors, and believers to walk in truth and righteousness. Ask that discernment would protect the Church from false teaching, greed, and division, and that truth would advance revival and transformation across the continent.
