Bangladesh, the Land of the Bengals, rests where the mighty パドマ そして Jamuna Rivers meet—a nation born from both beauty and struggle. It is one of the most densely populated countries on earth, alive with color, sound, and resilience. Before independence, this region was part of West Bengal, but decades of tension between Hindus and Muslims led to a painful separation in 1971, leaving Bangladesh largely Bengali Muslim—the largest frontier people group in the world.
Here, faith runs deep, but few have heard the name of イエス. In addition to this vast spiritual need, Bangladesh shelters thousands of ロヒンギャ難民 fleeing persecution in neighboring Myanmar. Along the nation’s railways, more than 480万人の孤児 wander without home or protection, searching for safety and belonging.
で Chittagong, the country’s main port city and industrial hub, the contrast between progress and poverty is stark. Ships dock with goods from around the world, yet many who unload them struggle to survive. Still, even in the noise of factories and the cries of the displaced, I believe God is at work—softly, steadily—raising a generation who will carry His light to the darkest corners of this land.
Pray for the Bengali Muslims—that their deep devotion would lead them to encounter Jesus, the true Redeemer of their souls. (ヨハネ14:6)
ロヒンギャ難民のために祈りましょう—that they would find safety, healing, and the hope of Christ amid their suffering. (Psalm 9:9)
何百万人もの孤児のために祈ってください—that God would protect them and raise up believers to show them His love and care. (ヤコブ1:27)
Pray for the Church in Bangladesh—to stand firm in unity and courage, boldly sharing the Gospel despite opposition. (エペソ6:19–20)
Pray for revival in Chittagong—that this bustling port city would become a gateway for the Good News to reach the nations of South Asia. (イザヤ49:6)
