Reconciled to God through Christ

The door was opened through Zaim, a newly baptized disciple and vice principal, who was actively sharing the Word of God within his school community. This connection led Wajeeh to the home of the school’s Director, a powerful government officer, who was seeking help for her family, which was wracked by conflict.

The officer gathered her troubled family, including a son caught in bad company and a daughter who was facing divorce. Wajeeh didn’t focus on their failures; instead, he shared the story of Adam and Eve and continued by explaining how Jesus was sent to restore relationships - first with God through His Sacrifice, and then with one another through forgiveness. Forgiveness heals our relationship with God and with others.

Recognizing the depth of their spiritual and relational need, the high-ranking officer showed remarkable humility. She asked Wajeeh to lay hands on her and her entire family and bless them in Jesus’ name. Zaim watched in amazement as the government official bowed her head. The transformation was immediate and real: the daughter who had been contemplating divorce soon went back to her husband. This miracle happened because of Jesus’ sacrifice; forgiveness is always possible, and even the most broken families can be restored.
