Io vivo in Tunis, the heart of Tunisia — a city where history meets the sea. The Mediterranean breeze carries echoes of centuries past, when conquerors and traders came seeking wealth, beauty, or power. Our land has always been a crossroads of civilizations, and today it still feels like a meeting place between the old and the new.

Since gaining independence in 1956, Tunisia has grown and modernized quickly. The city is alive with business, education, and art, and many are proud of our progress. Yet beneath the surface of prosperity lies a deep spiritual hunger. Islam still dominates every part of life here, and for those who follow Jesus, the cost of faith can be severe — rejection, loss of work, even imprisonment. Still, we stand firm. We know that true freedom does not come from governments or revolutions, but from the love of Christ that sets hearts free.

Each time I walk through the markets of Tunis, I pray for my people — for those searching for peace in all the wrong places. I believe Jesus will bring true and lasting liberation to Tunisia. The winds that sweep across the Mediterranean will one day carry the sound of worship, and this nation will rise to proclaim the victory of the King of Kings.
