Keys to Praying for Hindus

Despite their belief in millions of gods, pray for Hindus to understand Almighty God alone is the True and Living God, incomparable, and salvation is found in no other but Jesus His Only Son.

(Acts 4:1-13)

Ask Holy Spirit to remove the blinding over the hearts of Hindus so that they may know the Truth that sets them free in Our Lord Jesus Christ.

(2 Cor. 4:4 &John 8:31-32)

Pray for Hindus to receive biblical understanding and to experience of the power of Christ over sin, Satan, and death, described in such passages as the healing of the lame man (Mark 2:1–12), Jesus’s defeat of Satan (Luke 4:1–13), and Jesus' death and resurrection.

(Mark 15 &Matt. 28)

Hindus often recognize the weight of their guilt but find themselves powerless to earn the merit they believe they require to overcome it. Ask God to truly enlighten the eyes of their hearts to see that God has sent His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ, that gave Himself as the perfect substitute and sacrifice for our sins. Pray they repent, believe and receive that free gift of life.

(John 3:16 &Phil. 2:1-11)

Hinduism’s belief in reincarnation can create a sense of complacency regarding eternity. Their greatest hope is to be born into a better life until they can cease from these continual rebirths. Pray that they would see the urgency of finding salvation in this life. Ask Holy Spirit to draw them to Our Loving Heavenly Father, to be adopted into His forever family, and to have deep assurance that they will dwell forever with Him with no more death, mourning, crying, or pain.

(Rev. 21:3-4 &Heb. 9:27-28)
