Overpopulation: God’s Heart in the Crowd

Hinduism is the third-largest religion in the world, with a significant number of followers primarily in South Asia.

India is one of the most densely populated countries in the world, with a population exceeding 1.4 billion people. In the vast crowds of cities like Delhi and Mumbai, millions move like waves—commuters, families, street vendors, students, beggars. Though cities throb with activity and ambition, they also groan under the weight of need. Overpopulation has placed immense pressure on India’s resources, infrastructure, and environment. Traffic congestion, water shortages, and inadequate healthcare and education systems are only surface-level signs of deeper challenges.

In this sea of faces, it’s easy to feel forgotten. Yet God sees each one. No life is lost in the crowd to Him. Every man, woman, and child bears divine worth—regardless of caste, status, or religion. His eyes search the land not for numbers, but for names. His heart beats for the lonely in the multitude.

God Sees.

Among the masses are those who migrate from distant villages, seeking daily survival. Their journey is next…
