Following Jesus! – Step by Step with Jesus

10 Days Children's Prayer Guide

This guide is your companion for 10 Days 2026 — a global prayer movement happening from September 11–21 in which Christians all over the world pray together for cities, nations, and God’s Kingdom.

Each day has its own children’s theme that connects with the adult PURSUE guide. Whether you’re praying together as a family, using this in a children’s group, or following along on your own, every day includes:

  • A Bible story and memory verse
  • A 175-word devotional written just for you
  • A fun activity to do
  • A family challenge to put faith into action
  • Justin’s Thoughts — a word of encouragement from a young writer
  • Prayer points for a real city in the world, and for the Jewish people
  • A 2BC Champion Challenge — Hearing, Knowing, and Sharing
  • A colouring page prompt and video blog from Cami
  • An intro video with encouraging words from Cami!
  • The ‘Follow Jesus!’ action song

FOLLOW JESUS! is also the title of our theme song — you’ll find actions for every line. Sing it every day and let it set the tone for your prayers.

A NOTE FOR PARENTS: Each day’s city focus is shared with the adult PURSUE guide, so the whole family can be praying together — children and adults — for the same part of the world. On Day 10 (Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement), we join the Global Day of Prayer for Israel and the Jewish people.

Our Partner: 2BC — 2 Billion Children

This guide is proudly produced in partnership with 2BC (2 Billion Children, www.2bc.world), a ministry with a beautiful vision: that all children, everywhere, would be on mission for Jesus.

2BC believes every child can be a 2BC Champion — someone who is:

Hearing from their Heavenly Father
Knowing why they are special to God
Sharing His love with their friends and family

Look out for the 2BC Champion Challenge at the end of each day — a simple way to put Hearing, Knowing, and Sharing into practice!

Meet Justin

Justin Gunawan is a talented young writer from Indonesia. He was diagnosed with autism at two years old and didn’t speak until he was five — but through years of hard work and therapy, he learned to read and write, and published his first book at just eight years old.

Justin has written a short ‘Justin’s Thoughts’ reflection for each day of this guide, encouraging children around the world never to give up and to know they are loved by God, just as they are.
