Cornelius was a Roman soldier who loved God. One day, an angel told him to send for Peter. Peter came and told Cornelius’ whole family about Jesus — and they all believed! God’s Holy Spirit filled them, and they were full of joy and peace.
Let’s think about it:
God doesn’t just care about individuals — He cares about families! He wants mums, dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents, and children to know His love and peace. You can pray for your family and for families around you to be filled with God’s Spirit.
Let’s Pray Together:
Dear God, thank You that You love my family. Please fill our home with Your peace and joy. Help my family grow closer to You and to each other. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Idea:
Draw a picture of your family (or a family you know). As you draw, pray for God’s blessings and peace over each person.
Memory Verse:
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved — you and your household.” — Acts 16:31
Justin’s Thought
God loves families! When Peter told Cornelius’ family about Jesus, they all believed and were filled with the Holy Spirit. You can pray for your family too, that everyone knows how much Jesus loves them. Maybe you can even share a Bible story with them!
Grown ups:
Today, adults are praying for God’s peace in Jerusalem and Israel — asking the Lord to bring unity and healing in this land.
LET’S PRAY
Lord, bring peace to Jerusalem and help families live safely together.
Jesus, pour out Your love on Israel and heal broken relationships.
