I call Hohhot home—the capital of Inner Mongolia, once known as Kuku-khoto, the Blue City. Our streets echo with many voices: Mongolian, Mandarin, and the songs of minority peoples. For centuries, this land has been shaped by Tibetan Buddhism, Lamaism, and later the Muslim traders who made Hohhot a frontier market. Even today, shrines and mosques stand side by side, but so few here know the name of Jesus.

Walking through the markets, I see men and women searching for meaning, bowing to idols or reciting prayers they do not understand. My heart aches, because I know the One they long for.

Though China is vast and powerful, here in the north we feel small, caught between tradition and modern ambition. Yet, I believe God has chosen Hohhot to be more than a trade city—it can be a place where His kingdom breaks into every tribe and tongue.

We are few believers, and we face pressure and fear. But in the quiet, we pray that the Blue City will shine with the light of Christ, and that from here rivers of living water will flow into Mongolia and beyond.

- Pray for Every Tribe and Language:
As I walk through Hohhot, I hear Mongolian, Mandarin, and other minority tongues. Pray that the Gospel reaches each of these people groups, bringing light to hearts that have not yet seen Jesus. Revelation 7:9

- Pray for Boldness and Protection:
Many believers here gather in secret. Pray that God strengthens us to live boldly, loving and sharing Jesus despite fear, and that He protects His people from harm. Joshua 1:9

- Pray for Spiritual Awakening:
Hohhot is rich in history and culture, yet so few know the true Savior. Pray that God opens hearts, replacing idols and empty rituals with a living encounter with Christ. Ezekiel 36:26

-Pray for a Movement of Disciples:
Ask God to raise up believers who will multiply, plant house churches, and make disciples across Hohhot and into the surrounding regions of Mongolia. Matthew 28:19

-Pray for Hohhot as a Gateway:
Pray that this city, historically a frontier, becomes a gateway for the Gospel to flow northward and beyond, bringing revival to Mongolia and the nations. Revelation 12:11
