“Pray for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” — 1 Timothy 2:2

Peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, truth, and restored relationships. In 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wisely said, “True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.” Reconciliation is not passive—it is an active and often costly pursuit of healing. It requires confronting injustice, acknowledging pain, and honoring the image of God in every person.

In times of war and division, Jesus calls His followers to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9), walking in humility and love. The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has highlighted a growing movement of reconciliation between Arab and Jewish believers and Messianic Jews. This unity is a living testimony of the prayer Jesus prayed in John 17: that His followers would be one, just as He and the Father are one.

Fulfillment of Jesus’ Prayer (John 17): Intercede for visible oneness in the Body of Christ—across ethnicities, denominations, and generations—as a witness to the world of God’s redeeming love.
Humility and Honor: Pray for humility and mutual respect between Jewish and Arab believers. Ask the Lord to release a spirit of understanding and honor, empowering them to embrace one another as one new man in Messiah.
