People from every corner of the country gather here, chasing opportunity and survival. With more than 300个民族 及以上 600种语言 represented across our islands, our national motto, “多元一体” rings true — yet unity often feels fragile.

In recent years, persecution has grown across Indonesia. Churches face threats, and terrorist cells continue to appear, but even amid fear, the Church stands firm. The love of God cannot be measured, and the Gospel cannot be silenced. Here in Jakarta — the nation’s capital and its largest city — faith quietly grows in the shadows of power and progress. Many hearts, weary from corruption, inequality, and the emptiness of success, are searching for truth.

As one of the world’s largest urban centers and a major hub for trade and finance, Jakarta influences not just Indonesia, but all of Southeast Asia. I believe that what God begins here can ripple outward — from boardrooms to backstreets, from mosques to universities, from this city to the nations. The harvest is great, and the time is now for Indonesia to rise and shine with the glory of Christ.
