ਮੈਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ Khartoum, where the Blue and White Nile meet — a city that has long stood at the heart of Sudan. Once the largest country in Africa, Sudan was divided in 2011 after years of civil war between the north and south. The split was meant to bring peace, but our nation still wrestles with deep wounds, religious tension, and political instability.
Here in Khartoum, the rhythm of life is shaped by trade and struggle. The streets are filled with merchants, students, and families trying to rebuild their lives amid uncertainty. Many still long for peace, yet our government’s efforts to establish an Islamic state have left little room for those who follow Jesus.
But even in the midst of pressure and persecution, I see hope taking root. Quiet gatherings of believers meet to pray, to worship, and to share the Word. The Church here is small, but its faith is fierce. Sudan is a land of hundreds of ਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ, and Khartoum — this bustling city on the Nile — is becoming a seedbed for God’s Kingdom, where His Word is quietly spreading through relationships, courage, and love.
ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ peace and stability across Sudan after decades of civil conflict and division. (ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 46:9)
ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ courage and protection for believers sharing the Gospel in a hostile environment. (ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ 4:29-31)
ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ the unreached peoples of Sudan to encounter Jesus through dreams, media, and faithful witnesses. (ਰੋਮੀਆਂ 10:14-15)
ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ unity and strength within the Sudanese Church to stand firm amid persecution. (Ephesians 6:10–13)
ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ Khartoum to become a sending center for revival — a place where the love of Christ flows like the Nile into the nations. (ਹਬੱਕੂਕ 2:14)
