카라치, the largest city in Pakistan, is a vibrant, sprawling metropolis on the Arabian Sea. It is a city of motion—crowded markets, honking traffic, and people from every background working, trading, and striving for survival. A hub of industry and commerce, Karachi reflects both the energy and the pain of a nation still finding its way.

Since gaining independence in 1947, Pakistan has carried deep challenges. Culturally tied to Iran, Afghanistan, 그리고 인도, it sits at the crossroads of conflict and faith. The nation is home to more than four million orphans 그리고 3.5 million Afghan refugees, many of whom live in the shadows of Karachi’s dense neighborhoods. Amid this suffering, Jesus followers face intense persecution. Churches meet quietly, and believers often risk their lives to share the Gospel.

Since the collapse of peace talks between the government and terrorist factions in 2021, attacks against believers have increased sharply. Yet, even under pressure, the Church in Pakistan stands strong—rooted in faith, bold in love, and radiant with hope.

Now is the time for the global Bride of Christ to stand with Pakistan—to pray that Karachi, once known only for its hardship and hostility, will become a beacon of hope, a city where the Gospel transforms hearts, families, and generations.

• Pray for the orphans and refugees, that God would raise up His people to care for the vulnerable and show them His Fatherly love. (시편 82:3-4)

• Pray for peace and stability across Pakistan, that violence and extremism would give way to the peace of Christ. (John 16:33)

• Pray for the Church in Karachi to be united in love and bold in witness, shining as a city on a hill in a nation of great need. (마태복음 5:14-16)

• Pray for the unreached peoples of Pakistan, that every tribe and tongue would hear and receive the Good News of Jesus. (Revelation 7:9)
