Paul’s teaching on being filled - Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:22–23
Story intro...
The Apostle Paul taught that the Holy Spirit helps us live God’s way every day. When we are filled with the Spirit, we show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control — the fruit of the Spirit!
Let’s think about it:
Did you know you can ask the Holy Spirit to fill you every single day? You don’t have to wait for a special moment at church. Today, right now, you can pray: “Holy Spirit, fill me with Your love and help me live like Jesus.”
Let’s Pray Together:
Dear God, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Please fill me afresh today with Your love and joy. Help me show the fruit of the Spirit in everything I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Idea:
Draw or write the nine fruits of the Spirit on a card (Galatians 5:22–23). Ask God to help you grow in each one this week.
Memory Verse:
“Be filled with the Spirit.” — Ephesians 5:18b
