Philip was walking along a road when he met an important man from Ethiopia. The man was reading the Bible but didn’t understand it. Philip explained God’s love to him, and the man believed in Jesus and was baptized right away!
Let’s think about it:
Sometimes our friends have questions about God, just like the Ethiopian man did. God can use you — yes, you! — to help them understand who Jesus is. You can pray for them, share God’s love, and trust the Holy Spirit to do the rest.
Let’s Pray Together:
Dear God, thank You that You care about my friends. Please help them know how much You love them. Use me to show them who Jesus is in the way I speak and act. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Idea:
Make a little prayer list with the names of three friends who need to know Jesus. Keep it somewhere you’ll see each day.
Memory Verse:
“Go and tell the good news to everyone.” — Mark 16:15
Justin’s Thought
Philip met a man who was reading the Bible but didn’t understand it. So Philip explained about Jesus, and the man became a believer! Sometimes, our friends might have questions about God, and we can help them, just like Philip did. Let’s pray for our friends to know Jesus.
Grown ups:
Today, adults are praying for Jewish people facing persecution or antisemitism — asking God to protect and strengthen them.
LET’S PRAY
Lord, protect Jewish people from harm and surround them with safety.
Jesus, comfort Jewish families who feel afraid or alone today.
