After the Holy Spirit came, Peter stood up and spoke to a huge crowd. This was the same Peter who had been scared before! Now, filled with the Spirit, he spoke boldly about Jesus — and that day, about 3,000 people believed and were baptized.
Let’s think about it:
The Holy Spirit didn’t just give Peter nice feelings — He gave Peter boldness to speak about Jesus! And guess what? The Holy Spirit gives kids boldness too. You don’t have to be a grown-up to share God’s love with friends and family.
Let’s Pray Together:
Dear God, thank You that Your Spirit gives me courage. Help me not be afraid to tell people about Jesus. Please show me who I can share Your love with this week. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Idea:
Think of one friend or family member who needs to hear about Jesus. Write their name on a card and pray for them today.
Memory Verse:
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Acts 2:21
Justin’s Thought
Peter was scared before, but after the Holy Spirit came, he was super brave! He stood up and told thousands of people about Jesus. And because of that, lots of people believed. The Holy Spirit can make us brave too, even when we’re nervous. Maybe you can tell a friend about Jesus this week!
Grown ups:
Today, adults are praying for the Aliyah — the return of Jewish people to Israel, as God has promised in His Word.
LET’S PRAY
God, bring Jewish families home to Israel according to Your promises.
Lord, protect Jewish people returning and help them find You there.
