Welcome to Light in the Story!

Are you ready for a brand-new adventure with Jesus? For 10 days, from 17th–26th October, children all around the world will be discovering the amazing stories Jesus told, and praying together for something really special: that Hindu children and families everywhere will come to know Him as the true Light of the World!

Each day, you’ll read one of Jesus’ parables, pray a simple prayer, enjoy a fun activity, and sing along to worship songs. We even have a brand-new theme song called “Jesus is the Light of the World” - it’s full of joy, action, and a reminder that His light never goes out!

And here’s something extra exciting: as we pray through this guide, we’ll also keep praying for the Light of the World movie. This powerful new film is helping children and families discover Jesus’ story across the nations. Just like the movie and the song, our prayers shine His light so that many people will see and follow Him.

We are grateful to our young friend Justin Gunawan who has written us some inspiring and challenging thoughts for each day of this adventure.

Every day, you can also pray for five friends who don’t yet know Jesus. Use your BLESS Card to remember their names and ask God to bless them, speak to them, and draw them close to Him.

So grab your Bible, some colouring pens, and maybe a snack - because this is more than just a guide… it’s a chance to pray, sing, shine, and join God’s great story together!
