Jacob had tricked their father and stolen Esau\u2019s blessing, and Esau was so furious he wanted to kill his brother. Jacob ran away and didn\u2019t come back for twenty years.<\/p>\n<p>Then one day, Jacob heard that Esau was coming to meet him \u2014 with four hundred men. Jacob was terrified. He prayed, he sent gifts ahead, and he prepared for the worst. But when Esau finally saw Jacob, something incredible happened. Esau ran. Not to fight \u2014 but to hug. He threw his arms around his brother, and they both wept.<br \/>\nGod had been working in both their hearts.<\/p>\n<p>You might know what it\u2019s like to fall out with someone \u2014 a friend, a sibling, someone at school. Maybe it\u2019s been going on so long, it feels impossible to fix. But Jesus is the ultimate peacemaker. He gave His life to break down walls and bring people back together. And He invites us to be peacemakers too.<\/p>\n<p>Being a peacemaker doesn\u2019t mean pretending nothing happened. It means being brave enough to take the first step \u2014 like Jacob walking towards Esau, bowing low, hoping for forgiveness. Real peace costs something.
