<p>Ayodhya and Prayagraj are important cities along the Ganges region of northern India. Ayodhya stands beside the Sarayu River and is closely connected with Hindu stories about Rama, and it being Rama\u2019s birthplace. Prayagraj lies where the Ganges and Yamuna meet at the Sangam, a place visited by many pilgrims. The cities are filled with riverside steps, markets, families, schools, festivals, and busy streets.
