Though our country is large, much of the north lies empty \u2014 endless desert stretching toward the horizon, where only a few nomadic families live among the sands. But Chad is also a land of deep diversity. Over <strong data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"607\">100 languages<\/strong> are spoken here, each one a thread in the fabric of our people. Markets in the city overflow with voices and colors, a living crossroads between Arab, African, and French cultures.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"1281\">Yet our diversity also brings difficulty. Poverty grips much of the nation, and drought often threatens our crops and cattle. In recent years, <strong data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"961\">radical Islamic groups<\/strong> have crept across our borders, spreading fear and violence. Many believers live under pressure, worshiping quietly, their faith hidden behind closed doors. But even in hardship, the <strong data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1162\">Church in Chad<\/strong> is alive \u2014 small but courageous \u2014 praying, serving, and proclaiming Jesus among those who have never heard His name.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1635\">As persecution increases, so does our resolve. We know that light shines brightest in the dark. From the deserts of the north to the rivers of the south, I believe God is stirring hearts \u2014 bringing unity, peace, and hope to the \u201ccrossroads of Africa.\u201d The Gospel will not be silenced here; the people of Chad will one day sing a new song to the Lord.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" data-start=\"1915\" data-end=\"2046\">\n<p data-start=\"1918\" data-end=\"2046\"><strong data-start=\"1918\" data-end=\"1930\">Pray for<\/strong> protection and wisdom for pastors, evangelists, and church planters working in unstable regions. <em data-start=\"2028\" data-end=\"2044\">(Psalm 91:1\u20132)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2047\" data-end=\"2173\">\n<p data-start=\"2050\" data-end=\"2173\"><strong data-start=\"2050\" data-end=\"2062\">Pray for<\/strong> peace and stability in Chad\u2019s government and for the defeat of radical groups causing unrest. <em data-start=\"2157\" data-end=\"2171\">(Isaiah 9:7)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2316\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2316\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2189\">Pray for<\/strong> revival to take root in N\u2019Djamena and spread across the deserts, bringing life and hope to the whole
