RABAT

MOROCCO
Rudi nyuma

Ninaishi ndani Rabat, our nation’s capital — a beautiful city by the Atlantic, where the sound of the waves meets the call to prayer from ancient minarets. Rabat is both historic and modern, filled with life, learning, and ambition. Morocco is changing quickly; new buildings rise, the economy grows, and people dream of a better life. Yet, beneath the surface, many still wrestle with poverty, hardship, and the quiet weight of hopelessness.

Faith in Jesus here is costly. Morocco remains deeply Islamic, and those who choose to follow Christ often face rejection, loss of work, or even persecution. Still, God is moving in ways no one can stop. Across the mountains and deserts, through radio broadcasts and songs in the Berber language, people are hearing the truth of the Gospel. Small groups of believers are forming — meeting in homes, training one another, and preparing to reach their neighbors with courage and love.

In Rabat, I see signs of hope everywhere — in the quiet prayers whispered behind closed doors, in the worship rising in new languages, and in the hearts of people beginning to hunger for truth. The Spirit of God is stirring Morocco, and I believe the day is coming when this land will be known not just for its history, but for the glory of Jesus shining through His people.
