I live in Damascus<\/strong>, the city once called \u201cthe pearl of the East.\u201d<\/em> Even now, as I walk its streets, I can still feel echoes of its former beauty \u2014 the fragrance of jasmine, the call to prayer rising between ancient stones, the hum of markets that never truly sleep. Yet beneath it all lies sorrow. Since the war began in 2011, our land has bled and burned. Just a few hours away, Homs<\/strong>, once a vibrant center of life, became one of the first cities to fall into devastation \u2014 its people scattered, its neighborhoods reduced to rubble.<\/p>\n

More than a decade later, we are still trying to rebuild. Our government was toppled, and there are many unknown days ahead. But even in the ashes, God is moving.<\/p>\n

Now, as the nation begins to stabilize, a new opportunity has come. Some believers are returning home, carrying hope where despair once reigned. We know the risk, but we also know the Pearl of great price<\/strong> \u2014 the treasure no one can destroy. The same Messiah who met Saul on the road to Damascus is still meeting hearts today. And we believe He will one day restore Syria, not through power or politics, but through His peace.<\/p>\n
