SANA'A'

YEMEN
Întoarce-te

Locuiesc în Sana’a, a city of ancient beauty now scarred by war. For centuries, this place has been the heart of Yemen — a center of faith, trade, and life itself. Our people trace their roots back to Shem, the son of Noah, and we carry with us the pride of a long and storied history. But today, that history feels heavy. The sounds of prayer calls are often drowned out by the hum of drones and the cries of families struggling to survive.

For more than six years, Yemen has endured a brutal civil war. Over four million have fled their homes, and countless others live in daily hunger and fear. More than twenty million of us now rely on aid just to survive. Yet even amid this suffering, I have seen glimpses of grace — small acts of kindness, neighbors sharing what little they have, and whispered prayers rising like incense through the ruins.

The Church here is small and hidden, but alive. We believe that God has not forgotten Yemen. Though the land is dry and broken, I sense that He is preparing a flood — not of destruction, but of mercy. One day, I believe this nation will be washed clean by the grace of Jesus, and the same God who once rescued Noah will rescue us again.
