ALGERUL

ALGERIA
Întoarce-te

When I walk through the streets of Algiers, I feel both the beauty and the burden of this city. The sea breeze drifts in from the Mediterranean, and the whitewashed buildings shimmer in the sunlight — “Algiers the White,” they call it. To me, that name carries a deeper truth, because Jesus has made my heart white as snow. In a land where light seems scarce, His grace has found me.

Algeria is vast — most of it swallowed by the endless Sahara — but here in the north, life pulses with energy and history. The cafés are filled, the mosques overflow, and the call to prayer echoes daily through every neighborhood. Yet beneath all the noise, I sense a quiet emptiness — a longing that only Jesus can fill.

Still, the need feels overwhelming. In a country where 99.9% of people do not know Christ, I often feel small — just one voice among millions. But I believe God has called me to stand here, to pray, to love, and to live as His witness. I carry His hope through these streets, trusting that even a small light can pierce great darkness. One day, I believe Algiers will shine not just with white stone, but with the radiant glory of God’s presence.
