Toen Hij de menigte zag, voelde Hij medelijden met hen, omdat ze uitgeput en hulpeloos waren, als schapen zonder herder. Toen zei Hij tegen zijn discipelen: &#039;De oogst is groot, maar er zijn weinig arbeiders. Vraag daarom de Heer van de oogst om arbeiders naar zijn oogstveld te sturen.&#039; \u2014 Matte\u00fcs 9:35-38<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jezus, bewogen door mededogen, erkende de behoefte aan werkers om het goede nieuws aan de verlorenen te brengen. Vandaag de dag blijft deze oproep dringend \u2013 vooral voor het Joodse volk. We prijzen God voor het groeiende aantal Joden dat tot geloof is gekomen in Jesjoea als Messias en Redder. Toch wachten velen op de waarheid die hen zal bevrijden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jezus nodigt de vermoeiden en beladenen uit om tot Hem te komen en rust te ontvangen voor hun ziel (Matte\u00fcs 11:28-29).
