Daar kwam ze tot geloof in Christus door het lezen van Bijbelverhalen over de schepping en Christus. Ze begon meteen met het delen van haar geloof met anderen, waaronder Soedanezen, Noord-Afrikanen en Arabische moslims, en leidde hen ook naar Christus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aan het begin van haar reis deelde ze haar verhaal met haar vriendin Samar. Aanvankelijk vond Samar het interessant, maar haar interesse verdween al snel. Op een dag, rond het middaguur, was Imen bezig met een Bijbelstudie over het verhaal van de kruisiging in Lucas 23. Toen ze bij vers 44 kwam, &quot;Het was inmiddels ongeveer middag en er viel duisternis over het hele land...&quot;, kreeg ze een berichtje van Samar dat haar zus was overleden. Samar was net terugverhuisd naar de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten om de dialysebehandelingen van haar zus in Soedan te kunnen betalen. Tragisch genoeg viel de stroom uit terwijl haar zus dialyse onderging, en die stroomstoring werd haar fataal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imen, diep geraakt door het verwoestende nieuws, zei: &quot;God heeft de tijd in zijn handen. Niemand weet het tijdstip, het uur, of wanneer de duisternis zal vallen.
