Tegenwoordig is het een megalopolis met 9,5 miljoen inwoners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na een mislukte nucleaire deal uit 2015 met de VS hebben strenge sancties tegen Iran hun economie verzwakt en de publieke opinie van de enige islamitische theocratie ter wereld verder aangetast. Naarmate de toegang tot basisbehoeften en de overheidsplanning verslechteren, raakt het Iraanse volk verder gedesillusioneerd door de islamitische utopie die door de regering is beloofd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit zijn slechts enkele van de vele factoren die ertoe bijdragen dat Iran de snelst groeiende Jezus-volgende kerk ter wereld huisvest.
