Our city has always been a crossroads \u2014 a place where <strong data-start=\"427\" data-end=\"458\">Arabian, Asian, and African<\/strong> cultures have mingled through trade, travel, and time. The narrow streets of the <strong data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"552\">Old Town<\/strong> wind between tall, weathered buildings with carved wooden balconies, and the call to prayer echoes daily from countless mosques.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"1187\">While most of <strong data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"708\">Kenya<\/strong> is majority Christian, <strong data-start=\"732\" data-end=\"743\">Mombasa<\/strong> is different. Nearly <strong data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"799\">70% of my neighbors are Muslim<\/strong>, descendants of Swahili families whose roots trace back to Arab traders who settled here long ago. Their influence shapes everything \u2014 from our music to our food to the rhythm of life along the coast. This city is rich in beauty and heritage, but it\u2019s also spiritually dry. Many have never heard the name of Jesus spoken with love or seen His power revealed through kindness and truth.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1189\" data-end=\"1573\">Still, I believe <strong data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1237\">God\u2019s Spirit is moving here<\/strong>. I see small gatherings of believers praying for their city, reaching out to their Muslim friends, and sharing the Gospel one conversation at a time. Mombasa may be a historic trading port, but I believe it will become a <strong data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1485\">harbor for the Kingdom<\/strong> \u2014 where the love of Christ flows to the unreached along the Swahili coast and beyond.<\/p>\n"},{"key":"google_map","label":"Google Muslims<\/strong>, to encounter the love and truth of Jesus. <em data-start=\"1732\" data-end=\"1745\">(John 14:6)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1748\" data-end=\"1884\">\n<p data-start=\"1751\" data-end=\"1884\"><strong data-start=\"1751\" data-end=\"1763\">Pray for<\/strong> local believers to be bold and wise in sharing their faith amid cultural and religious barriers. <em data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"1882\">(Ephesians 6:19\u201320)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1885\" data-end=\"2007\">\n<p data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"2007\"><strong data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1900\">Pray for<\/strong> unity and strength within the Kenyan Church to reach the unreached along the coast. <em data-start=\"1985\" data-end=\"2005\">(Philippians 1:27)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2008\" data-end=\"2132\">\n<p data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2132\"><strong data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2023\">Pray for<\/strong> God to raise up workers and peacemakers who bridge divides between Christians and Muslims. <em data-start=\"2115\" data-end=\"2130\">(Matthew 5:9)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2133\" data-end=\"2279\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2136\" data-end=\"2279\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2136\" data-end=\"2148\">Pray for<\/strong> Mombasa to become a spiritual harbor \u2014 a
