Reaching 2 Billion Children

We pray for India because it is the world’s most populous nation, home to over 1.4 billion people. It contains more than 2,000 unreached distinct people groups, over 190 languages. India is now one of the fastest-growing major economies, yet hundreds of millions still live in poverty. Christians are only around 2% of the population, around 30 million believers. More than ten Indian states enforce anti-conversion laws, and 2026 saw record anti-Christian violence, yet the Church keeps growing through new house churches in the north and missionary-sending believers in the south and northeast.

We also pray especially for children in India, that through IPC’s 2BC (2 Billion Children) resources, boys and girls across the nation would hear the voice of their Heavenly Father, know their true identity in Christ, and be empowered by God’s Spirit to share His love with others. May these tools reach children in villages, cities, and even places where Christians face pressure, so that a new generation grows up secure in God’s love and bold in sharing the good news with their families, friends, and communities.
