For centuries, our land has been called the <strong data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"457\">\u201cGateway to Africa,\u201d<\/strong> a crossroads where traders, travelers, and cultures have converged. The people of <strong data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"551\">Senegal<\/strong> are as diverse as its landscapes, yet nearly two-fifths of us are <strong data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"627\">Wolof<\/strong> \u2014 a proud people known for our deep traditions, social order, and storytelling through our <strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"729\">griots<\/strong>, the keepers of history.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"1240\">Dakar is alive \u2014 full of rhythm, art, and movement. Ships come and go through one of the busiest <strong data-start=\"855\" data-end=\"881\">harbors in West Africa<\/strong>, carrying goods and people from distant lands. The call to prayer rings daily across the city, as <strong data-start=\"980\" data-end=\"1024\">Islam shapes nearly every aspect of life<\/strong>. Yet even here, among mosques and markets, I see hearts longing for peace and meaning. Many have never heard the name of Jesus spoken with love, but I believe the <strong data-start=\"1188\" data-end=\"1217\">Gospel is coming to shore<\/strong> in this harbor city.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1590\">Though the Church in Senegal is small, its faith is strong. Believers gather quietly, praying for their neighbors and serving their communities with humility. I believe Dakar will one day live up to its name \u2014 not just as a gateway for trade, but as a <strong data-start=\"1494\" data-end=\"1520\">gateway for the Gospel<\/strong>, sending the light of Christ throughout <strong data-start=\"1561\" data-end=\"1576\">West Africa<\/strong> and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" data-end=\"1770\">Pray for<\/strong> believers in Dakar to walk in unity and boldness, serving their communities with compassion and grace. <em data-start=\"1874\" data-end=\"1891\">(Ephesians families and unreached tribes to receive the Good News. <em data-start=\"1990\" data-end=\"2008\">(Colossians 4:3)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2135\">\n<p data-start=\"2014\" data-end=\"2135\"><strong data-start=\"2014\" data-end=\"2026\">Pray for<\/strong> the Spirit of God to move powerfully through Dakar, transforming it into a harbor of hope. <em data-start=\"2118\" data-end=\"2133\">(Isaiah 60:1)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2136\" data-end=\"2285\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2139\" data-end=\"2285\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2139\" data-end=\"2151\">Pray for<\/strong> Senegal to fulfill its destiny as the <strong data-start=\"2190\" data-end=\"2211\">Gateway to Africa<\/strong> \u2014 sending the Gospel to every nation beyond its shores. <em data-start=\"2268\" data-end=\"2285\" data-is-last-node=\"\">(Habakkuk
