    Marrakech is a city of warm sunshine, red walls, and busy streets. In the old part of the city, narrow lanes twist like a maze. Donkeys pull carts of oranges and mint. People sell bright lanterns, leather bags, and sweet pastries dusted with sugar. At night, the air fills with the sound of drums and the smell of grilled food from market stalls.<\/p>\n

    Ten-year-old Youssef loved going with his father to the market. He loved watching the snake charmers and listening to stories from older boys who acted brave and bold.<\/p>\n

    But sometimes Youssef didn\u2019t feel brave inside.<\/p>\n

    Some nights, he had troubling dreams. Sometimes he felt a heavy worry in his chest, even when nothing bad had happened. He didn\u2019t know how to explain it, so he kept it to himself.<\/p>\n

    One afternoon, Youssef\u2019s aunt came to visit. She brought his cousin, Samira, who was about Youssef\u2019s age. Samira was cheerful and calm, the kind of person who smiled easily.<\/p>\n

    When the grown-ups talked, Youssef and Samira played on the rooftop where they could see the city stretching out into the distance.<\/p>\n

    Samira noticed Youssef was quieter than usual.<\/p>\n

    \u201cAre you okay?\u201d she asked gently.<\/p>\n

    Youssef didn\u2019t know what to say. He had heard the name of Jesus before, but not like this \u2014 not as someone who helps.<\/p>\n

    That evening, as the call to prayer echoed across the rooftops, Samira\u2019s mother came upstairs with a small book wrapped in cloth. She smiled kindly at Youssef.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWould you like to hear a story?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n

    Youssef nodded, curious.<\/p>\n

    She opened the book carefully and read about Jesus calming a storm. The disciples were in a boat, waves crashing all around them. They thought they might drown. But Jesus spoke, and the storm became still.<\/p>\n

    Youssef listened closely. He imagined the wind and the waves\u2026 and then quiet.<\/p>\n

    Samira\u2019s mother looked at him. \u201cJesus is not afraid. He has authority.\u201d<\/p>\n

    That night, Youssef lay in bed thinking about the story. When his usual worry started to rise, he tried something new.<\/p>\n

    Nothing dramatic happened. No bright lights. No loud sounds.<\/p>\n

    But a calm peace settled over him, like a warm blanket.<\/p>\n

    Over the next few days, Youssef couldn\u2019t stop thinking about Jesus. When Samira\u2019s family visited again, Youssef asked for another story. Then another.<\/p>\n

    He learned that Jesus healed the sick. He forgave sins. He welcomed children. He spoke with kindness and power.<\/p>\n

    One afternoon, Youssef admitted something to Samira.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI want to know Jesus like you do.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Samira grinned. \u201cYou can.\u201d<\/p>\n

    They sat together on the rooftop. Samira helped Youssef pray. It wasn\u2019t fancy. It was simple.<\/p>\n

    Sometimes, Youssef drew pictures of the stories \u2014 a boat on waves, Jesus with His hand raised, the sea becoming calm. He kept the drawings hidden in his school bag and looked at them when he needed courage.<\/p>\n

    Youssef began to understand something important:<\/p>\n

    Jesus is stronger than anything that troubles our hearts.<\/p>\n
