The streets hum with the sound of <strong data-start=\"354\" data-end=\"384\">looms, engines, and voices<\/strong>, the air tinged with the scent of <strong data-start=\"419\" data-end=\"438\">leather and dye<\/strong> from the old mills that once made this the <em data-start=\"482\" data-end=\"509\">\u201cManchester of the East.\u201d<\/em> Just beyond the city\u2019s edge, the <strong data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"559\">Ganges River<\/strong> flows quietly, carrying with it the prayers, ashes, and stories of generations\u2014people longing for purity, for meaning, for peace.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"1030\">Here, life feels raw and real. <strong data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"753\">Laborers rise before dawn<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"803\">children weave between cars selling trinkets<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"838\">students crowd classrooms<\/strong>, chasing the faint hope of a better future. There is grit in this city, and determination too\u2014but beneath it all, I feel a deep hunger. An ache for something lasting, something unbreakable.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1032\" data-end=\"1337\">When I pass the <strong data-start=\"1048\" data-end=\"1069\">railway platforms<\/strong>, where families sleep under thin blankets and young boys polish shoes for a few rupees, I whisper a simple prayer: <em data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1222\">\u201cJesus, let Your light reach here.\u201d<\/em> Because I believe it can. The same hands that shaped the stars can touch these streets, these hearts, this city.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1666\">Kanpur carries the soul of India\u2014<strong data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1410\">resilient, colorful, and searching<\/strong>. I believe God has placed His people here for such a time as this: to <strong data-start=\"1481\" data-end=\"1502\">love without fear<\/strong>, to <strong data-start=\"1507\" data-end=\"1530\">serve without pride<\/strong>, and to <strong data-start=\"1539\" data-end=\"1563\">pray without ceasing<\/strong> until His peace breaks through the noise.
