Once our nation\u2019s capital, Almaty remains the beating heart of <strong data-start=\"467\" data-end=\"481\">Kazakhstan<\/strong>\u2014a crossroads of history, culture, and faith. Here, east meets west, and ancient traditions mingle with modern ambition.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"950\">We are a people of wanderers. Even our name tells our story: <em data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"674\">Kazakh<\/em> means \u201cto wander,\u201d and <em data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"704\">stan<\/em> means \u201cplace of.\u201d For generations, our identity has been shaped by movement\u2014nomads across the steppe, seekers across centuries. Yet now, our wandering feels deeper. Beneath the progress and prosperity, many hearts are still searching for home.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"1308\">Our land is rich with oil, minerals, and resources, but our greatest treasure is our <strong data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1046\">youth<\/strong>\u2014half of our nation is under 30. We are full of energy, ideas, and longing. After seventy years under Soviet rule, when faith was silenced and hope was crushed, a new generation is rising\u2014one asking questions that politics, wealth, and tradition cannot answer.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1594\">This is why I follow <strong data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1340\">Jesus<\/strong>. In Him, the wanderer finds rest. In Him, the lost find home. My prayer is that <strong data-start=\"1421\" data-end=\"1431\">Almaty<\/strong>, my city and my people, would discover not just freedom of the body, but freedom of the soul\u2014resting in the arms Church in Almaty<\/strong>, that believers would be bold and unified in sharing the Gospel across all ethnic groups and languages. <em data-start=\"1946\" data-end=\"1969\">(Philippians 1:27\u201328)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1972\" data-end=\"2120\">\n<p data-start=\"1975\" data-end=\"2120\"><strong data-start=\"1975\" data-end=\"2007\">Pray for spiritual awakening<\/strong>, that centuries of wandering and oppression would give way to revival and rest in Christ. <em data-start=\"2098\" data-end=\"2118\">(Matthew 11:28\u201329)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2121\" data-end=\"2273\">\n<p data-start=\"2124\" data-end=\"2273\"><strong data-start=\"2124\" data-end=\"2169\">Pray for government leaders and educators<\/strong>, that they would allow space for faith to flourish and truth to be spoken freely. <em data-start=\"2252\" data-end=\"2271\">(1 Timothy 2:1\u20132)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2274\" data-end=\"2426\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2277\" data-end=\"2426\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2277\" data-end=\"2325\">Pray that Almaty would become a sending city<\/strong>, raising
