Indonesia, my homeland, stretches across thousands of islands\u2014each unique, each alive with its own language and culture. Our national motto, <em data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"554\">\u201cUnity in Diversity,\u201d<\/em> feels both beautiful and fragile here. More than <strong data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"625\">300 ethnic groups<\/strong> and over <strong data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"652\">600 languages<\/strong> fill this archipelago with color and complexity, yet faith often divides where diversity could unite.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"1194\">In my city, the <strong data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"790\">Sunda people<\/strong> form the heartbeat of society. They are warm, devoted, and deeply rooted in <strong data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"876\">Islam<\/strong>, holding tightly to faith and tradition. But beneath that devotion lies a quiet searching\u2014questions about peace, purpose, and truth. Persecution has grown stronger across Indonesia; churches are watched, believers are threatened, and some are attacked. Still, the <strong data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1158\">Church stands<\/strong>, shining brighter under pressure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1196\" data-end=\"1558\">Even as <strong data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1223\">terrorist cells<\/strong> rise, so too does courage. I\u2019ve seen followers of Jesus love their neighbors boldly, serve the poor, and share hope that no law can silence. Here in Bandung, among the Sunda, I believe the harvest is near.
