Once, Iraq stood tall \u2014 strong, prosperous, and admired across the Arab world. But decades of conflict have torn at our nation\u2019s soul. In the 1970s, Mosul was a city of culture and coexistence, where Kurds, Arabs, and Christians lived side by side. Then came years of turmoil \u2014 bombings, fear, and finally the dark reign of ISIL. In 2014, we watched our city fall into the hands of terror, and many fled for their lives.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"1276\">When liberation came in 2017, the streets were silent, the churches destroyed, and hope felt like a memory. Yet, amid the rubble, life is returning. Markets are reopening, families are rebuilding, and the faint sound of children\u2019s laughter can once again be heard. But the deepest rebuilding is not of buildings \u2014 it\u2019s of hearts. The pain of loss runs deep, and reconciliation is hard, but Jesus is moving quietly here. In small gatherings and whispered prayers, believers are bringing His peace to a weary people.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1648\">This is our moment \u2014 a window of grace in the heart of suffering. I believe God is calling His followers in Iraq to rise as healers, bridge-builders, and bearers of <strong data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1453\">shalom<\/strong> \u2014 the peace only Christ can give. In the very city where violence once reigned, I believe love will take root again, and Mosul will one day be known not for its ruins, but for its restoration.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" data-end=\"1702\">Pray for<\/strong> healing over Mosul\u2019s deep wounds \u2014 that the peace of Jesus would rebuild hearts as homes and streets are restored. <em data-start=\"1818\" for<\/strong> believers in Mosul to be courageous peacemakers and agents of reconciliation across ethnic and religious divides. <em data-start=\"1967\" data-end=\"1982\">(Matthew 5:9)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1986\" data-end=\"2116\">\n<p data-start=\"1989\" data-end=\"2116\"><strong data-start=\"1989\" data-end=\"2001\">Pray for<\/strong> families displaced by war to find safety, provision, and the hope of Christ as they return home. <em data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2114\">(Psalm 34:18)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2118\" data-end=\"2248\">\n<p data-start=\"2121\" data-end=\"2248\"><strong data-start=\"2121\" data-end=\"2133\">Pray for<\/strong> the next generation in Mosul to rise free from fear and filled with purpose in God\u2019s kingdom. <em data-start=\"2228\" data-end=\"2246\">(Jeremiah 29:11)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2250\" data-end=\"2384\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2253\" data-end=\"2384\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2253\" data-end=\"2265\">Pray for<\/strong> Mosul to become a testimony of redemption \u2014 a city transformed by the shalom of the Prince of Peace. <em
