He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields with fire.\u201d \u2014 Psalm 46:9<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u201cPray for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.\u201d \u2014 1 Timothy 2:2<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, truth, and restored relationships. In 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wisely said, \u201cTrue peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.\u201d Reconciliation is not passive\u2014it is an active and often costly pursuit of healing. It requires confronting injustice, acknowledging pain, and honoring the image of God in every person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In times of war and division, Jesus calls His followers to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9), walking in humility and love. The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has highlighted a growing movement of reconciliation between Arab and Jewish believers and Messianic Jews.
