It is a form of prayer that is visible, verbal and mobile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its usefulness is two-fold: 1. To gain spiritual reconnaissance and 2. To release the power of God\u2019s word and Spirit in specific places, and for particular people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u201cBe sure God is addressed, and people are blessed\u201d (Steve Hawthorne)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I. PRAYERWALKING INVOLVES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Walking -- in pairs or triplets <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Worshiping -- extolling God\u2019s names &amp; nature <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Watching -- outward clues (data from places &amp; faces) and inward cues (discernment from the Lord)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">II. PREPARATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Commit your walk to the Lord, ask the Spirit to guide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cover yourselves with divine protection (Ps. 91)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect with the Holy Spirit (Ro. 8:26, 27)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">III. PRAYERWALK<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mix &amp; mingle conversation with praise &amp; praying<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As you begin, extol &amp; bless the Lord<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use Scripture to release God\u2019s blessing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ask the Spirit to direct your steps\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter &amp; walk through buildings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linger in a particular place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stop and pray for people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IV.
