One of the most exciting things we can remember as we pray is that Jesus is the Light of the World<\/strong>! His light shines in every place, even where there is darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In John 8:12, Jesus said: \u201cI am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summer, many children around the world joined together in SHINE! \u2013 24 Hours of Worship and Prayer<\/strong>. For one whole day, every hour, children and families prayed and worshipped, asking God to use the new animated film Light of the World<\/em><\/strong> to touch the hearts of millions of children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the prayer doesn\u2019t stop there! Just like the song we are learning with this guide, Jesus is the Light of the World, we can keep shining His light by praying whenever we have the chance. Maybe before school, with friends at church, or at bedtime with your family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Light of the World<\/em><\/strong> movie tells the story of Jesus through the eyes of his youngest Apostle, John, when he is a child and a follower of Jesus. It has just launched in theaters in the U.S. and in several other nations.<\/p>\n\n\n
