Hyderabad is the largest and most populous city in the Telangana state. With 43% of the city’s inhabitants being Muslim, Hyderabad is an important city for Islam and is home to many prominent mosques. The most famous of these is the Charminar, dating back to the 16th century.

At one time Hyderabad was the only global center for the trading of large diamonds, emeralds, and natural pearls, earning it the nickname “The City of Pearls.”

The largest film studio in the world is in Hyderabad. The city is also a major center for the pharmaceutical industry and technology start-ups.

With largely pleasant weather all year round, affordable cost of living, and the best civic infrastructure, Hyderabad is indisputably one of the most preferred places to live in India.

Ways to Pray

This city has a unique mix of Hindu and Muslim traditions and worship. Pray that the Lord of the Harvest will provide workers to minister to both.
Pray that the Christians in Hyderabad, just 2% of the population, will have a dramatic impact on their neighbors through demonstrating the love of Jesus.
