Each morning, I wake to the heartbeat of Bengaluru—the honking of auto rickshaws, the hum of buses, and the blend of voices speaking Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, English, and so many more. The city never sleeps. Known as India’s Silicon Valley, it’s a place of dreams and innovation—glass towers rising beside crowded streets, startups launching in coffee shops, and young professionals chasing success.
But beneath the noise and progress, I see the pain. Children sleep on sidewalks while luxury cars pass by. Beggars knock on windows as executives rush to meetings. Temples overflow with worshipers seeking peace, but their eyes reveal the same emptiness I once knew before I met Jesus. For all our brilliance and ambition, Bengaluru is still searching for meaning.
Caste and class still divide us, even in the church. Sometimes, love feels risky when it crosses social lines. But I’ve seen the Spirit of God move—in corporate offices, in slums, and in late-night prayer rooms. I’ve watched orphans find family, students find faith, and believers unite across every boundary.
This city is full of ideas, but what we need most is the wisdom of heaven. I believe God’s plan for Bengaluru is greater than innovation—it’s transformation. One day, I believe this city will be known not just for its technology, but for the presence of God dwelling among its people.
Pray for the Spirit of God to bring true peace and identity to those chasing success and meaning. (John 14:27)
Pray for believers to bridge divides of caste, class, and culture with radical love and humility. (Galatians 3:28)
Pray for the children and poor on Bengaluru’s streets to find safety, family, and restoration through the body of Christ. (Psalm 68:5–6)
Pray for the Church to become a hub of revival—marked by prayer, unity, and power in the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8)
Pray for Bengaluru to shift from being known as a center of technology to a center of Kingdom transformation. (Habakkuk 2:14)
