    Addis Ababa is a busy city with hills, churches, markets, and colourful buses. People sell coffee and fresh bread by the roadside. Children walk to school with backpacks, and neighbours greet one another warmly.<\/p>\n

    Ten-year-old Dawit loved football. After school, he kicked a worn-out ball between two stones he used as goalposts. He laughed easily and liked racing his friends in the street.<\/p>\n

    Dawit\u2019s father, Araara, loved Jesus. He helped other people learn about Him too.<\/p>\n

    Not everyone liked that.<\/p>\n

    One day, Araara went to visit a friend in a nearby village. He did not return home that evening.<\/p>\n

    Dawit waited by the doorway, watching the path. The sun began to set, and still his father did not come.<\/p>\n

    Later, some neighbours arrived with serious faces.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThere has been trouble,\u201d one man said gently.<\/p>\n

    Araara had been attacked and left outside the village. When people found him, he was not breathing. Everyone believed he had died.<\/p>\n

    Dawit felt like the world had stopped.<\/p>\n

    His mother knelt down and held him tightly. Tears filled her eyes.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWe will pray,\u201d she whispered.<\/p>\n

    They did not pray loudly. They did not shout. They simply cried and asked Jesus for mercy.<\/p>\n

    Other believers nearby began to pray too. Word spread to a praying community in Uganda who had been partnering in prayer for Ethiopia. When they heard what had happened, they prayed as well \u2014 for life, for courage, and for God\u2019s power to be shown.<\/p>\n

    Hours passed.<\/p>\n

    Then something extraordinary happened.<\/p>\n

    Araara began to breathe again.<\/p>\n

    People who were with him stepped back in shock. They called for help quickly. Believers stayed beside him and continued praying.<\/p>\n

    Slowly, carefully, Araara\u2019s strength began to return.<\/p>\n

    When Dawit was finally allowed to see his father, he could hardly speak.<\/p>\n

    Araara opened his eyes and squeezed Dawit\u2019s hand weakly.<\/p>\n

    \u201cJesus carried me,\u201d he said softly.<\/p>\n

    Tears rolled down Dawit\u2019s cheeks \u2014 but this time they were tears of relief.<\/p>\n

    Over the next days and weeks, Araara grew stronger. Neighbours were amazed. Some were confused. Others began asking questions.
    \n\u201cWhy do you still follow Jesus?\u201d someone asked him.<\/p>\n

    Araara answered gently, \u201cBecause Jesus is alive. And He is worth trusting.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Dawit listened carefully. Something steady and strong began growing inside him \u2014 not just happiness, but faith.<\/p>\n

    He remembered a verse his father had taught him:<\/p>\n

    \u201cIf you have faith as small as a mustard seed\u2026 nothing will be impossible.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Dawit started praying for his friends at school. He prayed for courage for his family. He prayed for people who did not yet know Jesus.<\/p>\n

    And he learned something important:<\/p>\n

    God\u2019s power is real.<\/p>\n
