I live in Jakarta<\/strong>, the vibrant heart of Indonesia \u2014 a city that never sleeps. Skyscrapers tower over crowded streets, and the call to prayer echoes between office buildings and markets. People from every corner of the country gather here, chasing opportunity and survival. With more than 300 ethnic groups<\/strong> and over 600 languages<\/strong> represented across our islands, our national motto, \u201cUnity in Diversity,\u201d<\/em> rings true \u2014 yet unity often feels fragile.<\/p>\n

In recent years, persecution has grown across Indonesia. Churches face threats, and terrorist cells continue to appear, but even amid fear, the Church stands firm<\/strong>. The love of God cannot be measured, and the Gospel cannot be silenced<\/strong>. Here in Jakarta \u2014 the nation\u2019s capital<\/strong> and its largest city \u2014 faith quietly grows in the shadows of power and progress. Many hearts, weary from corruption, inequality, and the emptiness of success, are searching for truth.<\/p>\n

As one of the world\u2019s largest urban centers and a major hub for trade and finance<\/strong>, Jakarta influences not just Indonesia, but all of Southeast Asia. I believe that what God begins here can ripple outward \u2014 from boardrooms to backstreets, from mosques to universities, from this city to the nations. The harvest is great, and the time is now for Indonesia to rise and shine with the glory of Christ.<\/p>\n
