As I walk through its crowded neighborhoods, I see remnants of what Baghdad once was \u2014 a flourishing center of learning, culture, and faith. My heart longs to see that peace restored, not through politics or power, but through the Prince of Peace, <strong data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"679\">Jesus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"1109\">Here in the heart of Iraq, the Church still endures. Among the ruins and rebuilding, about 250,000 of us continue to worship, serve, and hope. We come from ancient Christian traditions, yet we share one faith \u2014 holding fast to Christ in a place where fear and uncertainty still linger. Our city grows, but its soul aches for healing. Every day I meet people longing for stability, for forgiveness, for something that lasts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1568\">I believe this is our time \u2014 a window of grace for God\u2019s people in Baghdad. He is calling us to rise as His hands and feet, to serve the poor, comfort the broken, and speak peace where anger once ruled. Each prayer we lift, each act of kindness, feels like a seed planted in dry ground. I believe the Spirit of God will water those seeds, and one day Baghdad \u2014 the \u201cCity of Peace\u201d \u2014 will live up to its name again, restored by the love and power of 9:6)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1746\" data-end=\"1876\">\n<p data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"1876\"><strong data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"1761\">Pray for<\/strong> strength, unity, and bold faith among the 250,000 followers of Jesus still serving in Iraq. <em data-start=\"1854\" data-end=\"1874\">(Philippians 1:27)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1878\" data-end=\"2029\">\n<p data-start=\"1881\" data-end=\"2029\"><strong data-start=\"1881\" data-end=\"1893\">Pray for<\/strong> the Church in Baghdad to become a beacon of compassion and reconciliation across divisions of religion and ethnicity. <em data-start=\"2012\" data-end=\"2027\">(Matthew 5:9)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2031\" data-end=\"2173\">\n<p data-start=\"2034\" data-end=\"2173\"><strong data-start=\"2034\" data-end=\"2046\">Pray for<\/strong> hearts weary from conflict to be healed and filled with hope through the transforming love of Christ. <em data-start=\"2149\" data-end=\"2171\">(2 Corinthians 5:17)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2175\" data-end=\"2315\" data-is-last-node=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"2178\" data-end=\"2315\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"2178\" data-end=\"2190\">Pray for<\/strong> Baghdad to once again live up to its name \u2014 a true City of Peace, redeemed and renewed by the hand of God. <em data-start=\"2298\"
